Calendar overview: views and navigation

The Darlean calendar shows all your meetings and tasks in one place — the ones created inside the platform and the ones pulled in from connected external calendars.

Display views

The view switcher in the top-right corner (for example, "Week") lets you choose how events are shown — by day, by week, or by month.

  • The mini calendar on the left shows the full current month; clicking any date jumps the main view to it.
  • The "Today" button quickly returns you to the current date.
  • The ‹ › arrows next to "Today" move to the previous or next period.
  • The header above the grid shows the date range of the current period.

The "Create" button

Opens a menu with four options:

  • Instant meeting — starts a call right away, with no prior scheduling.
  • Scheduled meeting — opens the meeting creation form: title, date and time, repeat, an automatic Darlean meeting link, a built-in AI assistant that records and summarizes Google Meet calls, an offline location field, and participants.
  • Meeting link — opens the form for creating a standalone meeting link (more on this under "Scheduling" below).
  • Task — opens the same form on the "Tasks" tab: date and time, a choice of an existing task, and a description.

The "Scheduling" button

Opens the list of your meeting links — separate from specific calendar events. If you don't have any links yet, you'll be prompted to create your first one.

When creating a link, you can set the meeting duration (15, 30, 45 minutes, or 1 hour), offer several time slots to choose from, pick a format (online or offline), add a description and attach a file — and turn on calendar awareness so the system won't suggest times you're already busy.

The "1 calendar" button

Shows how many external calendars are connected and opens the list of connections.
